An American Pale Ale with tropical fruit and citrus aromas, refreshing bitterness with grapefruit, mango and peach in the flavour.
NOTE: Originally made in the style of an American Pale Ale, but using only UK grown hops and malt. Now includes New World Hops but the date of the switch is unknown.

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus, light lime. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet citrus, lime bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140416]

On cask at the Guildford. Appearance - herbaceous with a lime note. Nose - tangy lime marmalade. Taste - more lime marmalade with a zingy ginger note. Palate - medium bodied with a thick tangy texture and a finish that is mostly dry. Overall - a tasty beer but not as drinkable as some of their others.

Pint at the schooner, Gateshead. Slightly hazy dark gold with a thin but dense white head. Citrus and cereal aroma, prominent grapefruit flavour with a hint of lime and tropical. Zingy on the tongue, medium bodied, bitter finish. Very moreish
