A unique and moreish ale. Earthy, smokey with dried fruit flavours from Mexican Pasilla chillis.

Bottle @ Fenwick, Newcastle.
Appearance - Massive large head that quickly dissipate to nothing. Apperance of flat chestnut brown tea. Poor.
Aroma - Caramel malts....chilli heat...some fruity esters...no hops.
Taste - Caramel malt....fruity malt...hint of earthy hops...chilli...bit of smoke.
Palate - Sweet malts then big chilli burn finish. Simple. Almost no carbonation. Thin mouthfeel.
Overall - Just a novelty beer and not a good one. A substandard thin malty beer with lots of chilli. That’s it.

A nice tasting unique beer. As with other comments the main taste of the beer comes across as watery but has a nice taste to it. The chilli hits the back of the throat which is rather pleasant.

Cask Stillage at the Community Centre, Frodsham 10/04/2010 Some malt aroma. Amber coloured and fruity with a little dryness in a peppery lasting malt finish.

Bullit (3284) - Burgos, SPAIN - APR 5, 2010
Cask @ 3 Judges. Dark copper colour, off-white head. Aroma is bread. Flavour is bready, mild chili, malty, luckily soft on palate. Still quite unpleasant. Dry and bready finish.

Cask conditioned at The Hotel du Vin, Birmingham. Red to amber with no head. Quite thin on the palate, but the spicy heat definitely comes through which is a bit weird for beer. Once that is in the mouth nothing else comes through.

Bottle, Rehills, Newcastle. Little in the way of aroma, but a pleasant enough spicy tingle, that lingers gently on the throat. Not much else to the beer, unfortunately, I found it a bit thin and watery. I go along with the earthy description, but would almost veer into musty. Russett brown appearance, thin, off-white head. A bit disappointing.
