Bottle. Pours nearly clear coffee brown with shades of ruby and with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of roast, malt and fruit, with notes of barrel and hints of yeast. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of coffee and malt, and touches of fruit and hops. Roasty, coffeelike aftertaste with mild acidic hints. Decent and easily drinkable, if a little watery.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a lacing, beige head. Aroma has subtle peat and some tobacco. Light body, thoroughly smoky, very little roastiness, some tar and dried fruits. Only in the UK can you find a Porter, this light. 121016

Fin smag af chokolade og en fin og god dybte i den. Det smages ikke at den kun er 4 procent.

Cask at Southampton Arms, London. Darkest brown. Thin head to nothing. A very candied red fruit vibe throughout. Also earthiness, cocoa, nuts and coffee notes. Good stuff especially for the low ABV.

Copenhagen 20/6 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Very dark label with a black hen looking noisy. Nice design. Pours opaque reddish dark brown with white head. Disappears shortly after pouring. Aroma of dark roasted malts, dark chocolate and notes of coffee. Light carbonation and watery palate. Flavour is light with medium sweetness and a nice coffee and dark chocolate bitterness. Aftertaste is mainly bitter. Nice easy porter even though a little watery.
