500ml bottle. Pours an extremely dark brown - almost an opaque black. Smells of toasts, coffee and molasses. Taste is much the same and very drinkable.

Bottle. Dark brown with a small head.Slightly sherry like flavour with lots of malts. A lot of body for its relatively low strength.Quite impressive.

On cask at The Cask and Barrel (Southside). Pours a dark brown colour with a thick, light tan head. Aroma of chocolate and roasty malt. Lots of chocolate flavour upfront with roasty malt again and burnt toast. Light bitterness and a long malty linger. Moderate carbonation with a creamy mouth-feel and a dry finish.

Cask @ the local pub in Allendale Town. Pours pale brown / dark red. Nice aroma of raisins and chocolate with medium strong coffee following. Very refreshing and light with spicy chocolate notes. I warmly reccomend this one.
