Golden yellow...clear...thin white head
Aroma of sweet pale malts...juicy citrus fruits...hint of peach....light grassy hops
Taste - grassy hops...some citrusy hops underneath...bit of citrus zest... mainly grassy hops... background of pale sweet malts...not complex though
Palate - medium carb...thin to medium body...texture quite oily. Finish grassy bitter...orange zest....lingering considerably bitter finish
Overall - Quite assertive hops more grassy than citrus

Bottle Rehills Ncl. Great grapefruit & orange aroma, sharp bitter palate. Happy character really shines through and is the focal point of the beer. Lingering flavour and texture, this is a cracker.

500ml bottle from Cheese & Wine shop Darlington. Clear golden amber colour, white head leaving some lacing and tropical fruit peachy aroma. Malty caramel smooth bitterness with fruity grassy hop and biscuity notes, through to a dry hoppy grapefruit bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

UPDATED: NOV 10, 2012 Slight haze to this bottle, lovely hop aroma which lingers on the tongue. Strong bitterness in the cheeks like a slap from a fish wife.

Bottle. Golden and clear.Gentle hoppiness but not overpoweringly so.Some fruitiness. A subtle pale ale certainly worth trying.

Bottle at home after brewery visit. According to brewer, lots of Galaxy & Columbus in this bad boy (I even saw the brew sheet!), not sure where the "only UK grown hops" comes from. Possibly a new recipe? Light orange amber, lacy thin white head. Nice juicy nose, fresh and peachy, slight orange peel, quite "dank" character. Nice juicy sweet citrus up-front, with a big resinous dank hop hit, quite grassy & herbal (definite Galaxy character) but a long, puckering bitter finish. Lovely and hoppy. Soft carbonation. This is excellent.

Im sorry, looking at the description, there can't possibly be only English hops in this. Haven't had an English hopped beer yet so aromatic let alone flavourful. Bags of citrus hops normally only associated with American and New Zealand hops. Enough ABV to balance it out too. Quite a lot like Brewdogs Punk IPA. And that is a good thing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 04/07/2012. Deep gold with a slight white head. Tropical fruits, with some grassy hops and lasting, dry finish. Enjoyable.

Refreshing and clean tasting pale ale with hints of tropical fruits in its flavour.
