Pale golden ale with an abundance of American hops. Golden ale, brewed with an outstanding trio of bold American hops for a full fruity aroma and flavour, with a refreshing citrus finish. Five seperate hop additions including a massive dry hopping of Citra give this beer its outstanding aroma and full-on flavour. Brewed in the North Pennines: Englands last wilderness.

500 ml bottle bought at Great Food Hall in Pacific Place, Admiralty.

Looks: Translucent golden honey colour; Half finger head with crumpety white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing and fizzy slow carbonation.

Aroma: Fragrant Ale malt, with strong honey, strong floral, light grapefruit, orange, resins, sugar, caramel, strong lemon and fresh grass.

Taste: Mid to light sweet light Ale malt, with light tartness, strong citrus peels, floral, honey, caramel, sugar, resins, spices, light biscuits, strong lime, fairly strong bitter hops and sharp grass.

Body: Mid to light. Slick palate.

Mouth Feel: Pretty good Ale malt base, slick and crisp with light wheaty tartness. Hoppy tones set out with strong lemon peels all the way with strong honey and floral, good resins and spices. Nice sweet with limey ending. Nice!

Hoppiness: Strong honey, strong floral, light grapefruit, orange, resins, strong lemon and fresh grass in nose. Strong citrus peels, floral, honey, resins, spices, strong lime and grass in taste; Bitterness is quite strong for an abrupt, high astringent Bockish malty finish.

After Taste: Quite dry. Limey and sweet bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one has very nice and unique floral honey aroma which carries well onto taste. The dry-hopped Citra seems to contribute more limey fruit peel characters than tropical aromas. More Munich malty than hoppy but refreshing and enjoyable. Recommended!
