Commercial Description:
Cask; Status uncertain.
A beautiful red coloured, full bodied beer taking its name from the famous wolf of Allendale. With bitterness coming from Challenger hops and a fruity blackcurrant aroma coming from Williamette hops. At 5.5% abv. this really is beer with bite!

Cask@Peterborough Beer Festival, 2008. Thick dark brown looking beer. The aroma is strongly sweetly malty, with a touch of roasted’ness. The flavour is bitter, malty, smooth and slightly toffee. Overall a nice beer.

Cask pint in Newcastle area. Aroma of standard dark pint, deep brown/black pour and a tiny 1cm cream head. Taste is distinct coffee, slight malt and moderate bitter. Good example of an english pint.
