3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 gramity (1054) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 24, 2012
Realized I hadn’t migrated this rating over! Time to fix that. Pours a cloudy light straw yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is like baked apple pie. Apple, cinnamon and bready yeast. Taste is very tangy with sour apple and a good wheat backing.

650mL bottle poured a hazy straw color with a small white head a blotchy lacing. Aroma of Granny Smith apples and yeast. Taste is sweet apple fruitness and some yeast in the finish. Mouthfeel is cidery. Not one of my favorites in this style.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jercraigs (6477) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 23, 2011
2010-01-23. Lightly hazy pastel yellow, modest foamy white head fades. 3+ Flavour is a bit tart up front, fruity apple like overtones, dry finish, tart wheaty bite. 6+ Dry fruit and wheat in the aroma, light grassy hops. 6+ Average palate is effervescent. Enjoyable but pretty mild, a bit more tart than my preference - not sure if that’s entirely intentional or a sign of age. Okay. Bottle via trade with Vertical Bacon Strips
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 mabel (5043) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 23, 2011
[3565-20110123] 650mL bottle. Hint of woody manure plastic in the aroma but has yeast notes mostly. Slightly hazy, light orange brown body with a quick foamy white head. Light yeasty apple sauce malt flavour has a tiny bitter nibble. Light-medium body. Interesting to sample but is a little odd. (6/3/6/3/13) 3.1

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 thb (609) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 5, 2011
Pleasant and refreshing, but nothing to push it above average. Pours hazy-yellow straw colour. Foamy head like you’d expect. A little funky yeastiness. Lots of apple, but its still grain dominated (not a cider for sure!). Could use a little more spice or something.
2.4 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 DuffMan (5190) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 29, 2010
Bottle, shared with Parksy. Densely cloudy lemony yellow with a frothy creamy white head. Aroma is extremely sweaty, to the point of smelling like the inside of a latex glove. Not pleasant actually. Wheaty flavor, sour apple accents. Tart-sour finish. Briskly carbonated, crisp and refreshing, although not especially complex, and with no real defining apple character.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Scubaguy (230) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 18, 2010
It pours a cloudy yellow color with a puffy white head that does linger around. It has a large amount of carbonation.
On the nose there is a dominate anything. But I am getting some light sour and in addition to that some wheat.
The flavor starts off with some good wheat but right away it becomes dominated by huge amounts of green apples. This to me is missing some spice. As well it’s way over carbonated.
It finishes with a little sourness and some bitter citrus. I don’t know what to say about this. I personally dig granny smith apples. I think if the wheat had a bigger presence and the apples were dialed back it would be better.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Cole (967) - , Alberta, CANADA - DEC 5, 2010

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TheHulk (485) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 5, 2010
This actually tastes like apples! was the first thing I said after tasting this. It smells like the bitter part of a sour apple without the apple part of the aroma so much... quite heavy on the yeast. Quite thick looking, nice head and lacing, fuzzy, quite a lot of particulates, this actually seems like a good beer! I wasn’t expecting this close of a match to the style. There is definately some apple in the taste there, but it sort of masks the lighter styles of the malts here I think. It’s got a wierd spikiness where the flavour and palate mix and cross over, sort of like where the torque curve meets the horsepower and then it all changes, it’s different but you can’t quite put it into words...
