COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our most popular fruit beer cooler. Only the finest wheat malts and natural apricot extract are used to hand-craft this fine straw coloured beer. Aprikat apricot beer cooler is a very clean, fruity beer which complements lighter foods and curried dishes. It also complements lighter desserts such as fruit plates and pound cakes.

Sample at the Picaroons Brewers Bash. Hazy orange colour. Aroma and taste were pretty strong dried apricot with a little wheat backing it up. Decent summer fruit beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours orange. Aroma of apricots, fruit, wheat. Taste is very much apricot at first, leads to the taste of a weaker ale. Good for what it is, a summer fruit beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPad

Pours a clear bright yellow, with little head amounting to a nice ring of white. Aroma consists of sweet apricot, wheat and pale malts. Carbonation is high, flavour is mostly sweet creamy apricot, followed by a light wheat and pale malt profile. Maltier than i remember, decent fruit beer. Funny thing is this is this was my gateway into craft beer, thanks alley kat!

Pours a clear yellow orange copper color with a white head that dissipates quickly andeaves little lace. Has a nice big sweet smell of apricots. The taste is mainly apricot with a bit of wheat malt then just finishes a bit flat. Great summer beer.

Draft - This is a very fresh keg and you can tell. Nice sweet apricots on the nose, much more like a juice. clear amber with a nice head that diminishes quickly. The sweetness is subdued on the flavor but still very much apricots. Not very much else in the way of flavor. A nice fruit beverage but not a great beer.

One of the better fruit beers to try. The apricot taste goes really well with the beer taste. Great recommended to people who think ales are boring and IPAs and dark beers are too strong.

Sample from bottle.Pours clear with minimal head with no retention. Nice looking in the glass, but this is where everthing goea down hill. Aroma is strong apricots athat overpower anything else. Taste is sickly sweet fruit. I hesitate to call this a beer... More so a cooler.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2012 (Second Rating, Home, New 341mL Bottle, Lager Glass, 5% ABV, Chilled, 16/05/12. #4-40.)

Appearance (3/5): Hazy golden amber color, with a frothy, one finger, white head that mostly diminishes but leaves good lacing
Aroma (6/10): Very distinct apricot and orange, with cereals, florals, and very subtle caramel and grass.
Taste (6/10): Very sweet and slightly burst at the beginning, filled with fruitiness that can, at times, border on cloying. A short, clean, sweet finish. Very simple, fruit flavors dominate. Some bottles have a cloying/chemical sweetness, some don’t.
Palate (2/5): Light body, soft carbonation, watery texture. Very soft and light, with an extremely subtle oiliness in the finish.
Overall (13/20): A clean, light, refreshing beer. Not very complex, a little weak flavored and watery. Still enjoyable as a cooler. Very sweet; I can’t drink more then one in a sitting.
Drinkability: 5/5. Character: 3/5. Buy Again: Yes.

Clear golden pour, small white head. Aroma of malted wheat, apricots. Light carb, a touch watery. Bright fruity finish with a light bitterness.
