2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 DuffMan (4418) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, - APR 23, 2006
Golden amber, aromas of sweet apricot candy. Obviously apricot flavour is the center of attention on the palate, but it isn’t so sweet that you are driven out of your mind. Very refreshing, and definitely nice for a change.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 jrizko (39) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 23, 2012
UPDATED: MAY 16, 2012 (Second Rating, Home, New 341mL Bottle, Lager Glass, 5% ABV, Chilled, 16/05/12. #4-40.)
Appearance (3/5): Hazy golden amber color, with a frothy, one finger, white head that mostly diminishes but leaves good lacing
Aroma (6/10): Very distinct apricot and orange, with cereals, florals, and very subtle caramel and grass.
Taste (6/10): Very sweet and slightly burst at the beginning, filled with fruitiness that can, at times, border on cloying. A short, clean, sweet finish. Very simple, fruit flavors dominate. Some bottles have a cloying/chemical sweetness, some don’t.
Palate (2/5): Light body, soft carbonation, watery texture. Very soft and light, with an extremely subtle oiliness in the finish.
Overall (13/20): A clean, light, refreshing beer. Not very complex, a little weak flavored and watery. Still enjoyable as a cooler. Very sweet; I can’t drink more then one in a sitting.
Drinkability: 5/5. Character: 3/5. Buy Again: Yes.

Bottled sample for courtyard Marriott in Edmonton. My least favorite of the trip. Not a fan of fruit beer
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 reebtogi (2159) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 18, 2011
Hazy amber-golden pour from a 341mL bottle. Small white head with very light lacing. Aromas of grain and apricots. Taste is initially sweetness of malts and apricots followed by a long dry finish. A quite enjoyable fruit beer.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 gramity (601) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 15, 2011
One finger fluffy white head soon faded to a thin layer. Weak lacing. Smells included bread yeast and fruit. Tasted of bread with a sweetish apricot finish. Mouthfeel was light but the apricot sweetness thickens the finish a bit. No major flaws but the fruit sweetness would stop me from drinking more than a couple. Judging by previous reviews it seems that the beer may have been improved lately.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Scubaguy (230) - Alberta, CANADA - FEB 3, 2011
It pours a light golden color with some orange hue’s. It has a quick disappearing white head and very little lacing.
On the nose I am getting some wheat malt and some light apricot.
The flavor is an over bearing sweetness. I am getting a good dose of wheat, apricot. Also there seems to be some peach notes as well.
It finishes a little dry and bitter. This is more of a cooler than a beer, having said that I can see how the ladies like it.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 paco (527) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - DEC 28, 2010
Tap at beer bros Regina. Subdued aroma, maybe Apricot maybe peach, Im not sure. Taste is overly sweet, not puckering sweet but just too much. Like eating candy. Not much going on, a bit of malt character, some bite towards the end. Not very good.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Powertrip (841) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - APR 21, 2010
Definitve raspberry nose after a orange-reddish pour. A little bit of nutmeg in here too for a nice touch. Taste is certainly fruit dominant but also heavy on the sweet ....for me anyway. A rasp of flowers muddle about the mouth as well. Malty finish.
