daboskabouter (1469), Fergus, Ontario, Canada Jan 4, 2007 Bright amber golden colour with a fizzy white head. The nose is sweet marmalade with candyish apricot and a touch of alcohol. The body is candy sweet with a underpinning of unpleasant hops. The body is lacking to say the least. I think they accomplished what they were trying to acheive, but I’m pretty sure they should have just left very well alone.
fiulijn (5900), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 5, 2008 Draught at Ship and Anchor, Calgary Deep blond color. Peach aroma, a bit cheesy. Light flavor, too bitter and dry for a fruit beer. patricks110 (176), Alberta, Canada Jul 16, 2008 Fairly unimpressive apricot aroma. A little bit does mix in with the smell of wheat malts. Had at Bottlescrew Bills. Taste is of light apricot and malt. There is some fruity flavoru which is perhaps peach or pear. Overly sweet and only a little bit of alcohol taste. Overall, this is more a cooler than a beer. The beer is a beatiful dark straw brown colour with no head and lite carbonation. Overall, I would buy this again, but I have higher hopes for the other Alley Kat beers. GRM (873), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Jun 10, 2008 Brown bottle, 341 ml, purchased at the brewery on May 23 2008, savoured on June 10 2008; eye: golden with copper reflections, clear, slight effervescence, tiny ring of beige head; nose: peach, slight apricot, malt, light floral, grain; mouth: apricot, peach, grain, grainy finale in apricot, grainy texture, a bit thin, a bit cloying, rather sweet, slightly bitter, slight astringency, rather carbonated; overall: once is enough

A amber-gold coloured beer with the aroma of apricots. The apricot flavour is the main thing here, but it tastes of beer for certain, and isn’t too sweet. Sammy (3141), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 29, 2007 Sampled at Hop In Brew. It’s clearly extract and not apricots cut up and thrown in the mash, that worked for me at one brepub many moons ago. So the aroma is artificial. Its a lager. Yellow colour. Acidic.
