Thanks to reimer for this awesome pale ale. Pours a clear dark amber with a small white ring. Aroma is intense earthy and citrus hop character. Taste is full upfront hop bitterness with a dry mouthfeel. Easy drinking session beer. If this was available to me it would a regular in my fridge.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 andrewturba (479) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 16, 2012
Pours an amber with little white head amounting to a thin white topping and a larger bubble ring around the glass. Great aroma of mostly citrus and grassy hops with minimal bread notes. Up front is a mixture of caramel and bready malt followed by grapefruit from the citrus hopps, so well balanced the flavours transition so smoothly.

Pours a lovely golden colour with an awesome hoppy aroma. Tastes great; good amount of hops, but could be a bit better balanced with a *slightly* stronger malt character. Overall, a really solid pale ale.

Better then Sam Adams for the fact that it doesnt linger as long but to me it taste almost like the same bad beer. Not a fan.

Draft - Bread, grain and a slight malt sweetness. Clear amber with nice medium head. Well balanced beer, starting with a bit of bitterness from the hops ending in the bready and grains. The malt is a little lost in the taste, but this is still a nice refreshing session beer.

Originally reviewed Mar. 7, 2007:
poured with a gold colour that wasn't dark or light. head was white and decently thick. retained pretty good with an etched glass. scent showed good hops and citrus. flavour reflects the hoppy smell, and has a wee bit of malty goodnesses.
