Very good, pours reddish brown. Definite pumpkin pie flavour and aroma. Now to find a whipped cream flavour beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The flavor has some good malt, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg. There is nothing that is really overpowering. It feels balanced. The aroma steals the shows in this one. There is good cinnamon and nutmeg and a touch of pumpkin. It’s just smells great. The warmer it get’s the better the aroma is. Pours a deep copper color with a nice off white head that quickly disappears to a thin ring. It finishes with some good lingering spices. I have to say that I am not a fan of pumpkin pie. But i am constantly reaching for another one of these. I think they did a great job with this one.

Draft - Pumpkin, nutmeg, clove, all the right players in balance. Clear amber with minimal head. Spice is held in check, unlike many others, allowing the pumpkin to shine. One of my favorites from this brewery.

Bottle, courtesy of Jimmay (thanks!). Dark orange with lots of brown, small still white head. Great aroma, Pumpkin pie mixed with caramel. Yum. Taste follows exactly - very sweet and very spicy and very very tasty. A tan thin I suppose. Really liked this one, certainly in the upper end of pumpkin ales I have ever tried.

This is a seasonal favorite of mine - the missus and I look forward to it every October. Aroma is fantastic - nutmeg, clove, pumpkin - smells like fresh pumpkin pie. Tends to be a bit hazy or cloudy in the glass, reasonable head and average lacing. I agree with what someone else said - definitely best at the start of its limited brewing season, as the taste and palate of this delicious beer starts to get a bit bland and gritty as you get farther from Halloween. I’ve encountered occasional sediment at the bottom, but usually in those older batches and not the fresh stuff.

Pours a clear deep copper with nice big white head that after a few minutes amounts to a small white ring around the glass. Aroma is of nice pumpkin pie(cinnamon, nutmeg, and some other spices you may find in pumpkin pie). Flavours consist of pumpkin pie spices, mostly nutmeg, cinnamon, and slightly nutty. definitely one of the better pumpkin beers i’ve had.

Tastes like pumpkin pie, rather enjoyable for those who like pumpkin pie. Beautiful colour also.

Single bottle purchased from a Calgary Co-op Liqour Store on 09/18/2012. Colour: Beautiful clear dark orange with red hues. Low creamy light brown head. Nose: breaded pumpkin with healthy dose of all-spice. There is some espresso deeply hidden. Of all the pumpkin beers I have tasted in my time - this one has the most pumpkin-like aroma. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium-light bitter, medium-light sour. Light caramel on-set and then the pumpkin takes over - and combined with the caramel, it truly gives the taste of pumpkin pie. Medium body and slightly sticky. Carbonation is fairly weak but this allows for more of a full pumpkin taste. Spice is curiously dull considering it was prominent in the aroma. Drinkable.
