Pours a clear deep copper with nice big white head that after a few minutes amounts to a small white ring around the glass. Aroma is of nice pumpkin pie(cinnamon, nutmeg, and some other spices you may find in pumpkin pie). Flavours consist of pumpkin pie spices, mostly nutmeg, cinnamon, and slightly nutty. definitely one of the better pumpkin beers i’ve had.

Tastes like pumpkin pie, rather enjoyable for those who like pumpkin pie. Beautiful colour also.

Bottle thanks to presario. Pours a clear and copper color with a small white head. The aroma is very good; sweet pumpkin, spices, caramel goodness, I can almost smell whip cream in this aroma. The aroma is just perfectly like a pumpkin pie. The flavor is spicy, lots of pumpkin, smooth and easygoing. A perfect example of the style.

Single bottle purchased from a Calgary Co-op Liqour Store on 09/18/2012. Colour: Beautiful clear dark orange with red hues. Low creamy light brown head. Nose: breaded pumpkin with healthy dose of all-spice. There is some espresso deeply hidden. Of all the pumpkin beers I have tasted in my time - this one has the most pumpkin-like aroma. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium-light bitter, medium-light sour. Light caramel on-set and then the pumpkin takes over - and combined with the caramel, it truly gives the taste of pumpkin pie. Medium body and slightly sticky. Carbonation is fairly weak but this allows for more of a full pumpkin taste. Spice is curiously dull considering it was prominent in the aroma. Drinkable.

Bottle split at Endo’s, thanks to MJ for the trade, 26/05/13. Very lightly hazed golden amber with a thin off white head. Nose is spiced fruits, clove, sugars, pumpkin, caramel. Taste comprises sweet sugars, steeped fruits, clove, spice, pumpkin, light apricot notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, fruity spicey finish. One of the best (I’m not a big fan) pumpkin beers I’ve had - good balance of sweet and spice.

2013-11-09. Crisp dark orange body, large off white head. 3++ Pleasantly spicey aroma, lots of nutmeg I think, sweet malt core. 7+ Smooth average plus bodied palate. Pleasantly sweet malty core, pleasant spice. Very nice stuff, full flavoured yet fairly well balanced. Better than expected! Bottle cellared several months via trade with Ferris

DuffMan (6534) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 30, 2007
Pours a bright clear amber orange with a moderate foamy head that fades fairly quickly. Delicious, but muted, aromas of gingerbread and nutmeg (best appreciated if you let it warm a bit). Sweet toffee malt up front with a spicey pumpkin pie finish covered in nutmeg and cloves. Almost a tartness to the finish that brings to mind a California common style, which keeps this beer from becoming cloying or too sweet. Light in the body, bordering on thin. Very enjoyable-- a nice fall treat!

Thanks to HogTownHarry for sharing this with Blankboy and I. Appearance: Orange red with a small head. Aroma: Pumpkin spice, pie, nice! Flavour: Yes, a lot of pumpkin. Like a wonderful glass of pumpkin pie. Smashing.

Aptly named pumpkin PIE ale - this smells and tastes like pie - I think they even captured the flavour of the crust. Pours clear reddish bronze with little head. Cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, crust. Taste is similar. Sweet, but clean. Drinkable - spices aren’t overpowering, it’s still clearly a beer and not egg nog.

Thanks to Reimer for this. Pours a clear dark amber with a small white ring. Aroma is pumpkin spice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Taste is not overpowering. Pumpkin spice, cinnamon, nutmeg are all in pretty good balance. Easy drinking.
