Bottle shared with Jerc, Hogtown Harry, Blankboy, and Mabel, courtesy of Jerc and Mabel. Sparkling water clear, light bubbles. Aroma of honey, light ginger. Good taste - lots of fruity sweetness and a good dose of ginger. Medium mouthfeel - could have used more carbonation. I loved it at first but then had trouble finishing my glass. Neat I guess.

Aug 4, 2008 [1300-20080418] 650mL bottle. Honeyed raspberry juice hints in the aroma with flowery sickly sweetness. Clear, pale pale yellow body with no head. Flowery honey bubblegum petal flavour with a sweet finish and a short aftertaste. Light-medium body is a bit bubbly. Super sweet, like chewing on a flavoured ice cube.

Apr 26, 2008 Bottle (22oz). Shared with blankboy, jerc, mabel and tupalev - bottle courtesy of J&K. Near-clear pour, just slightly pink-gold with no head; I know it’s a mead not a beer, but it didn’t yell "cool! drink me!!!" Sweet sugar cookie aroma, lightly fruity and floral (nectar). The taste reminded me of a bourbon & ginger ale massively watered down - also sweet, gently floral and even sweeter as it warmed. Watery body, very flat and quick-finishing - easy to drink, but I wouldn’t want a whole (or even half) bottle of this stuff.

Apr 21, 2008 Bottle (650ml) shared with HogTownHarry, tupalev, jerc & mabel -- courtesy of jerc & mabel. Pours a clear, very pale gold with a spare diminishing white head. Aroma’s sweet with raspberry candy, apple juice, white wine and honey. Flavour’s not bad, I kind of like it, it’s almost like a refreshing twist Shandy -- of course you have to be in the mood for that. Thin bodied. I didn’t mind this but a small glass of it is enough.

Apr 18, 2008 2008-04-18. Pale yellow body, no head to speak of. Big aroma of very sweet honey, light sweet raspberry. I actually sort of enjoy the flavour, which has a very sweet almost perfume like honey and fruit. Something in the undertones that is hard to place adds a something to it. Syrupy average palate.
