3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by kbudd19 at RBSG in the prez suite - thanks, Kevin! Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Notes of mixed fruits (dark and dried, even some tart plum), mixed sugars, oak, and caramel. Medium-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a sweet mouthfeel. Hides the huge ABV extremely well. Drinks easier than the malt liquors surrounding it, actually. Seems pretty old. Interesting beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle, big thanks to kbudd for sharing at RBSG hotel. Labeled "A Newer Breed". Dark red color, hazy with particles inside. Thin off-white ring of head. Loose lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Light slick. Hides alcohol supremely well. Drinks like 11-12%. Dark fruit, tropical hoppy fruit flavor. Moderate dry bitter taste, light sweet. Some warmth, but not as much as I feel like this beer should have. Impressive stuff. Extra point just for stealthy ABV.
