Aromatic from the hops but almost sickingly bitter killing my taste buds. "Wohl abgerundet" (well rounded) the label claims - my ass it ain’t. 070302

Jan 1, 2004 Hazy grapefruit juice body with minimal white head. Aroma is grassy, light citrus. Taste is fairly sharp grassy bitter up front, quickly overtaken by grapefruit that carries through to the swallow. Light, rather crisp body. Unusual for a German pilsner.
