.5 liter bottle from State Line. Pours a pale straw color with a foamy pure white head and some nice lace. Aroma is lightly bready with some cracker, only slight herbal hops, a bit musty and a light artificial swetness coming through. Flavor is a bit stale- old pale and pilsner malts that had been sitting- dull crackers, earth, a bit musty and cobweb-like- also some metalic in the end- reminding me of a relaly bad american lager- something along the lines of natty or milwaukees best. Carbonation appears to be high, yet the mouthfeel is so soft it seems flat somehow? Finsish isnt crisp or clean or hoppy- but just stale and off- metalic- yet not skunked or anything- just bad.

Jul 3, 2008 Pour is a hay colored yellow with a small white head. Aroma is of faint malts and not much else. Flavor is thin and watery with only a slight trace of malts and no hops. Not a very good pils.

Jun 26, 2008 Very simple and not that great for the style. Very dry on the palate, with an extremely overcarbonated mouthfeel that reminds me of some cheaper macro lagers, lots of adjuncty notes, not very clean or crisp like I expected. Just not good at all.

Jun 13, 2008 Far cry for the aroma from all the hoppy beers I’ve just been drinking. Malty but nice. A good dry finish. Simple, easy drinking.
ABUSEDGOAT (1842), California, USA
Apr 14, 2008 Light golden color, moderate head, some lacing and retention. Aroma is grain, bread, somewhat hoppy. Light bodied, quite sweet. Just not that great.
