Cask. Deep brown almost black with a ruby haze. Small tan head. Dusty cocoa, mild caramels, a bit of coal. It's surprisingly light given the colour, but also the finish is disappointingly non-existant. A light fizzle then gone.

Cask @ the harp. Pours a dark brown, with a small beige head. Quite roasty, toffee, light pine, cinnamon and a bitterness that doesnt linger. Finishes quite malty and an average mouthfeel. While good, i feel it doesnt show off the true power of new zealand hops
