2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 imdownthepub (7461) - Banbury, - APR 22, 2010
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with slight white head. If there are large quantities of German hops, I missed them in the sweetness, thick and honeyed. Some peachy fruitiness, soft and fleshy then just the hint of hops in the close. Average really.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JohnRMurdoch (1564) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - AUG 1, 2011
Cask @ The Bon Accord. Mild citrus fruit & biscuit aroma. Pale golden yellow colour, good head. Dry resin & biscuit flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Better than the other ratings suggest.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 chriso (7063) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2010
Cask (handpump) at the Market Porter, Southwark, on 17 August 2010. Bright gold & clear, with good condition. Some citrus in the aroma. A bit thin in the mouthfeel but clean, with more citrus on the palate. Not dissimilar to the Derventio Augustus sampled shortly before but a little less zingy. Still, decent, refreshing stuff.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 harrisoni (10067) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2010
Cask handpull at the Ledger Building (JDW), Canary Wharf. Hazy pale gold thin white head. Looks like a German wheat beer. Lemon light tasty wheat beer perfect for summer drinking. Little bit weedy but its Fine. Some decent dryness on finish. Tad herby. Could do with being served colder too.

16th April 2010. Clear pale gold beer. Dry palate. Very light malt. Bitterish hop, juicy grapefruit and a touch orange. Tastes a touch better than it sounds.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Wundoo (2) - SCOTLAND - APR 30, 2010 does not count
Wetherspoon’s conditioned.
I thought this was a superbly balanced ale - perfect for an afternoon session.
Floral, fruity (lemon, pineapple, mango, pineapple, apple) and bitter but with just enough sweetness (honey) to make you want another half dozen.
Excellent example of an English golden ale.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 hughie (3992) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 20, 2010
Cask at Pilgrim’s Progress (JDW), Bedford, in Spoons Real Ale Festival ’10. Pale gold. Sherbet lemon aroma. Sweet lemony taste and a sharp bitter finish. Served too warm. I don’t think Brigit, goddess of the Celts, would recognise this substance as beer, but it was quite drinkable.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 berkshirejohn (3014) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2010
Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Pale straw with a thin white head; floral aroma; light body, traces of honey without being too sweet; then crisp Bavarian hops to finish. Refreshing.
