SImple malty body, gentle hop aroma. Sweet light grains dominate, but it’s dull in the mouth. The finish at least is pleasantly hoppy.

Cask conditioned at Minehead Beer Fest ’11. Pale gold with white head. Quite light in the body, there is a biscuity malt note than a good pleasant sweetish lemon hop note. It finishes fairly bitter. More complex than expected. Nice beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 davet100 (16) - Virginia, USA - MAY 30, 2011
On cask at Odiham and Greywell Cricket Club. Poured a light golden colour with a pleasant hoppy aroma. Distinct lemon, citrus overtones with a well balanced sweetness. Overall a very pleasing beer indeed, crisp, refreshing, light and packed with flavour. Very good light session ale, perfect for in the summer months I would imagine.

Cask at the Manchester Winter Ales Festival. Clear pale gold with next to no head. My mate loves this kind of stuff and this is certainly one of the better hoppy English ales. Crisp and hoppy, mild bitterness. Easy to drink, be nice in summer instead of freezing my arse off here.
