Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, nutty, damp-stained, earth, tobac - cigar ! Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (290708)

Cask @ Market Porter, Borough SE1. Pours a pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty aroma with some hints of caramel. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Hasa a sweetish malty finish.

(Cask at Market Porter, Borough, London, 4 Aug 2008) Copper colour with very brief head. Malty, fruity, nutty nose with dried fruit and dusty hops. Malty, nutty taste with notes of dried fruit, caramel and dusty hops in a modestly bitter finish. Nice balance. Decent beer.
