[CASK: The Friendship Inn, Fallowfield, Manchester 10/01/07] Nothing spectacular here. A very middle range ale with nothing special to rave about. Pretty boring and average really.

Cask at NWAF 2009. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, flowers, and hops, leading to a dry and slightly bitter finish. The body is light.

Cask at Thurrock Beer Festival. Clear golden with a small head. Good fruity, sharp apple-ish hop nose. Decent bitterness, good apples flavours, especially towards the finish. I quite liked this blondie.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2007 cask @ 2nd pembury fest. Sorely unimpressed with this one. Golden with small white head. Smell of fruit and hops. Tastes like mineral water with a hint of hops. No thanks!

A Mes rate: Stillage at the Pembury Tavern. Golden colour with a fairly impressive head considering. Almost German in its wheatiness. Quite clear in both the aroma and flavour. Other than that its straight down the line with some faint citric hop notes and a malty finish.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Gateway Leicester. A golden coloured beer with a sparkled creamy white head and a lot of lacing. The aroma is hard to discern through the unnecessary head, but there’s nothing unpleasant. The taste has some citricity but it’s fairly ordinary and safe. Not particulalry impressed.
