Cask handpull at Market Porter. Itís a bitter. Decent hop on finish especially. Fairly decent. Copper colour, thin lasting beige head. Decent bitter which I quite liked though Tom liked the Bowman more.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask conditioned, gravity poured at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Amber with slight head. Pongy, eggy, sulphery on the nose and the sulpher theme follows into the beer, quite sweet as well, just didnít seem to be well balanced. Not really keen on this.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask (gravity dispense) at Battersea Beer Festival on 10 February 2011. Hazy dark amber appearance. Fairly malty aroma - a bit sweaty though. Sweetish on the palate with more fruity malt and subtle earthy hops. Only modest bitterness. Overall feel was quite traditional. Not bad but didnít really grab me.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
A Mes rate:
Gravicask at the Pembury. Awful. Very off in the nose and flavour. Note much to pick at other wheat and citrus. Palate is watery. Finish is swift and too delicate. Beer is not great.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
August 31, 2013 - hand-pull cask at The Sheaf. Slightly hazy amber-gold with a smallish off-white bubbly head. Aroma of apple on top of floral bitterness - quite floral, really - boring, taste follows. Thin body, astringent, flat, medium-short finish, some appleseed bitterness emerges in the aftertaste. Ehh.
