Cask Handpump at the Babington Arms JDW, Derby 15/08/2007 Fruit aroma. Golden coloured hoppy and fruity with a dry lasting malt finish.

Cask handpull at Pembury Tavern. Copper with bubbly off white head. Bit of farty yeast on aroma. It’s a bitter, decent caramel/fruit malt. Nice enough hop on the end. Not too keen on the yeasty aroma, but the rest of the beer is fine.

Cask (handpump) Pembury Tavern, Hackney. Bright golden amber colour. No head. Light malt aroma. Thicker malt in the flavour - more caramel. Not much hop presence. Rather sweet mouthfeel. Session bitter + sweet malt + low hops is usually a recipe for me disliking a beer. This one was no exception although I can’t say it was actually unpleasant.

A Sim rate (Cask at the Pembury Tavern): Novelty name, not sure I like it. Smells a bit cheesy. Kind of like smelly feet but it’s not as bad as that sounds. Slightly malty. Fairly dull. Absolutely regular.
