Cask. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, lemons and other fruits combined with hops and a light touch of diacethyl, leading to a bitter finish.

Cask (gravity dispense). Beer #23 at Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival on 3 February 2011. Gold colour. Thin white head. Quite hoppy but not that aromatic. Some orange peel flavour. Also plenty of lemony citrus. Prominent finishing bitterness.

Cask, handpump at Bar Fringe, Manchester, 20.01.11 Loads of soapy hops in the mouth, bit too soapy for me actually. Hazy gold appearance with medium white head. It’s fine but I’ve had much better from Allgates. A6 A3 T6 P4 Ov13 3.2

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, spicy - herbs, moderate hoppy, grass, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100120]

Cask. Clear yellow with a creamy white head leaving laces. Sweetish fruity nose. Medium body, flat, citrusy with an almost Bretty astringency. Fairly hoppy finish. 200110

Cask handpull at Market Porter. Pale gold, lasting white head. Asectic sherberty hop on aroma. It’s ok if a bit too ascetic to be really pleasant.

Hop aroma. Small white head. Clear golden coloured hoppy and fruity with a grapefruit flavour. Crisp and bitter malt finish.
