Cask@Derby Beer Festival 2010. Bright golden beer with a light airy head. The aroma is green and hopped, and the flavour is dry, hopped and watery to an extent. Overall a reasonable dry beer with watery elements.

Cask, gravity, Banbury Beer Festival 06-05-10 One of my first beers of the beer festival and interestingly it turned out to be one of my favourites. Gold in colour with a smattering of white bubbles for a head. Crisp, refreshing, with some lemon flavours running through, nicely bitter this is a tasty beer. A7 A4 F8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’10. Pale gold with white head. Doesn’t drink like a 5% beer as its light, crisp and refreshing. Juicy American hops to the fore with a thin body. Citrus and a touch of lemonade, a really pleasant beer.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 hughie (3992) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 31, 2010
Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Gold with a small white head. Citric hop aroma, a little grass, and a sharp bitter finish that dominates everything. Quite good. The words ’blackboard paint’ came into my mind, even though I am reasonably sure I have never knowingly tasted that substance, or even seen any for the last three decades, blackboards being but a distant memory in our educational system. It’s all ’interactive whiteboards’ now, which is why I retired.

Cask handpull at The Market Porter. Pale gold, lasting white head. Bit soapy to start with but I love the hop sting as it kicks in. Nice.
