Maybe it was the store, this is the 2nd brew that has looked "grey". But this one is a deep gold, but it is rather dull looking. The smell is earthier than most of the style, it is predominantly malt with some noble hops. The taste has a definite hop bite initially, it is fruity, but subtle. It has a n almost vanilla like malt presence with a slightly metallic finish. I think it is an old bottle, gotta try it fresher. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-08-2011 05:12:54
