Haven’t got the flawest idea where these low ratings come from. I really enjoyed this Hefeweizen during my stay in Berlin. Has a nice aroma of banana and hops and has a very nice thick texture and great palate.

Bottle. Dark orange with a few grey clouds, offwhite creamy head. Slightly dusty/minerally aroma. Fruitsalad base, light minerally/salty notes, citric fresh finish, light spicy aftertaste. Fluffy yet chewy body. Highly drinkable.

500 flip-top bottle from Wasana’s in Germany.. Pours a deep claudly gold with a full lasting off white head. Aroma is citrus, bananas and old wheat. Taste is not sweet but somewhat fruity. Palate is a bit dry but still a good Hefe.

50cl fliptop. - Feared the worst, given Büble’s uninspiring Helles/Pils in true macro industrial style, but this is in fact quite enjoyable light Weizen due to a very tasty yeast: notes of strawberry bubblegum and joghurt rather than heavy banana, pleasantly drinkable due to light mouthfeel; remarkable that the almost total lack of carbonation doesn’t take away from its overall pleasantness. Not impressive, but more quirky than several other lacklustre Oetker offerings on the supermarket shelves.

Bottle. Pours hazy pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops, grain and yeast with a slight perfume note. Sweetish taste of malt combined with grainy sourishness and a yeasty finish. OK but not the best weizen I have had.

Bottle, 5.3%. Citric bubble gum aroma. Cloudy dark yellow colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is slightly sweet with a bit of bubble gum and green apple. Faintly sour finish, but not too bad.

12.02.13(Flasche):braun gelb, übertrieben trüb, wenig und schnell sinkender Schaum. Das Aroma ist sehr hefig. Etwas Banane aber auch Weizen ist zu finden. Der Geschmack ist üpisch Weissbier, wie das Aroma. Dafür untüpisch wenig carbonisiert. Gut trinkbar.
