| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 13, 2009 Bottled. A pale amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of sweet malt as well as light notes of caramel - too sweet for my liking. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and hops, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Boring for the style. Tmoney99 (4731), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured clear golden color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted grassyaroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
My expectations where met. ryanknock (150), San Francisco, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 24, 2009 Toasty, biscuitty and light ale. Nose of toffee and toast, hints of apples and earth. The mouthfeel is thin and a little slick, notes of caramel, earth, toast, honey, corn. The finish is a little grassy, but like old hops rather than fresh ones. Authentic offering, but could use a flavor boost. Braudog (3759), Dayton, Ohio, USA
