Clouded orange appearance with a small white head and modest lacing. Yeasty aroma, spicy, with mild fruityness. Tart taste, wheaty, some citrus; subdued hoppiness. Dry, slightly sour, lingering finish.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beerdedone (2343) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 3, 2007

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Braudog (5026) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - JUN 20, 2007
500ml bottle; poured a welcoming hazy golden color with a gigantic pock-marked solid, white helmet. The aroma is tart, super sweettart. This drinks quite sweet, but not as sugary as the aroma. This doesn’t have a lot of the yeasty, fruitiness of so many classic weizens. Bit bubblegummy, mostly fruit salad-like. (#2985, 6/20/2007)
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 5, 2007
Bottle: Super dark brown, moderate foamy beige head, sparce lacing.   After a while it almost looks still.   Roasty nose,
earthen, slight Bourbon and oak, maybe even a little ash and/or campfire.   Somewhat sweet on the tongue, mellow roastiness, low hop
profile, soft Bourbon, fleeting hints of vanilla and oak.   Seems to become more chalky/dry as time goes on.   Very mild porter.
Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Lingering cocoa on the finish.   Not a big Porter at all, and the Bourbon aspect is very
minor as well, probably for the better.   Not as juicy as I thought it would be, but still enjoyable.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 imdownthepub (8470) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 22, 2007
Bottled, 500ml, at The Bayerischer Hof, Kempten, Bayern. Hazed pale gold with white head. Clean cut Hefeweizen, understated on the spicy notes but slightly hoppier than most. A little bitter and a crisp malt. Reasonable without being exciting.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - AUG 6, 2006
Not the greatest hefeweizen I have ver tried, but decent at best. Has an aroma of fresh cut grass, with a bit of bubblegum and a bit of yeasty spiciness, but all kind of muddled in a very unimpressive maltiness, that is slightly watered down.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20 warriorx99 (85) - USA - MAR 25, 2006
Pours gold with a creamy head. The aroma is a fruity, grassy small to it. The taste is mostly a grassy flavor. Not a great hef in my estimation.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 frankenkitty (1958) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - DEC 20, 2005
A fizzy, white head is big to start over an opaque, amber/brown with thick, chunky yeast particles. Untraditional aroma with the yeasts taking a backseat to malts (toffee and chocolate) with a hint of Play-Doh, moldy fruit and light floral. Mid-bodied with a buttery palate, the flavor is bittersweet musty wheat with sour fruitiness. An unexpectedly interesting interpretation... likable but odd.
