Clear medium orange yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, dusty straw - grass, light to moderate hoppy, fruity, dusty grass - straw. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, grass bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101212]

bottle, bought in Isny. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Fresh malty-fruity nose. Medium-bodied with a good malty background, unfortunately lacking a hoppy balance. The flavours turn woody-sourish after the initial malty start.

Bottled. A deep golden beer with a medium white head. The aroma is malty with herbal notes and similar is the flavour. The end is dry and has a discrete bitterness. Medium body. An average lager, drinkable.

Bitter and slightly tart flavour, light to medium body; short malty initial taste with a strong but not perfectly blended hoppy note and shy fruity notes; dry and bitter hoppy finish. Lacks balance.
