Mi aspettavo qualcosa di più da questa birra avendo provato la bionda doppio malto. Si sentono poco il malto e il luppolo. Peccato

Bottle 50cl. Pours Copper with a big tan frothy head. Nose is fruity, grassy and yeasty. Aroma is sweet and slightly bitter, the same bitterness grows for a while persisting in the aftertaste. Medium to low carbonation. A little oily to the palate, medium body.

sinte (315) - Udine, ITALY - SEP 25, 2013
Bottle 0.5L. Amber body with a large, forthy, tan head, mostly diminishing with some lacing. Light-to-moderate malty (bread) aroma with notes of hops (herbal) and alcohol (unpleasant solvent). Light sweet flavour with a light bitter note more evident in the finish. Light-to-medium body with watery texture; soft carbonation; metallic feeling and light alcoholic warming in the finish. The overall feeling is of a somewhat attenuated beer.

Douberd (1999) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - AUG 12, 2013
Swing top bottle, 500 ml, bought in Italy and brought back home. Poured into a small tulip glass. ABV 7.5% on my bottle. Very deep orange colour on the body, almost light amber. Crystal clear, with good activity in it. Two fingers of a soapy, off-white head, with average retention but with nice lacing left on the glass. Aroma is very malty, with ripe pear, white stewed grapes and sugar and obvious alcohol after a light swirl of the glass. Taste is sweet with alcohol notes, a bit too much at first but it mellows quickly enough. Very light bitterness that struggles to surface under all the malts. Some light fruit flavour notable mut not so distinguishable. Medium thin body, average carbonation and quite dry on the palate. Overall interesting heller bock.

09.05.2013. 0,5l Swing Top Bottle. Pan Panorama, Pisa, Italy. Dark brown colour with no head. Aromas of dark malt. Strong with alcohol and sweet malts. Very soft and clean beer with sweet malts and rich body. rather low bitterness.

Kita (971) - Koper, SLOVENIA - APR 14, 2013
Bottled, 0.50l. Clear mahogany color with large frothy tan-like head, no lacing and lively bubbles. Taste starts with rich toasted malt, followed refreshing fruity and with strong alcohol note. Mouthfeel is relatively plain for that style, while finish is warm alcoholic with mild bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium body, thick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Not that it was a cardinal mistake that I bought this beer, but it’s only average one...

dreadnord (1013) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 28, 2013
Pours semi transparent reddish brown with a large off white head. The nose is dark fruit, cinnamon, cloves and brown sugar. The taste is high sweet, low bitter. Heller bock? I think not. Drinks like a belgian dark ale. The mouthfeel is crisp and clean, the body is light and the finish is long. Not on par with style.

Dorqui (2081) - Brescia, ITALY - JAN 22, 2013
Bottled 0,50L. Dark golden color, lightly orange with a fraught aspect. Good foamy head resistance. Malty and alcoholic aroma, notes of caramel and lightly roast cereals. Round and medium crisp body, good bitterness and lightly smoked final.

birraiolo (195) - ITALY - NOV 23, 2012
