09/11 0.5 l fliptop bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured clear golden body with medium sized head. Sweetish floral malt aroma, touched with alcohol. Flavor was sweet as well, fruity malt palette like peaches, cooked apricots, quinces, butter, with some alcohol of course. Medium to full in body with fine sweet finish. Nothing special, but generally a pleasant winter warmer.

Crisp clear golden coloured body with a rich, three centimetre tall white head. Aroma of malt, rice, light hops, grain and some mild sugars. Light-bodied; Sharp metallic and pungent malt flavour with a lot of grain and alcohol present. Aftertaste shows a bit more rice and grain than usual with a good sweet finish, but a bit pungent. Overall, not a horrible beer, but not a good one and not one that can compete with the beers just a few hundred kilometres away. Interesting to see a German beer with Italian all over it, but understandable. I sampled this 50 cL swing-top bottle purchased from Billa in Milan, Italy [via Torino] on 15-February-2014 for €2,55 sampled in my apartment here in Milan on 16-February-2014.

Non è la mia birra preferita ma non la trovo nemmeno malvagia. Buono il sapore a primo impatto e abbastanza presente il luppolo nel retrogusto.

Ogi’s, brought from Italy. Poured a slightly misty golden body with a small white head. Buttery sweet alcoholic aroma, malty. eh. Sweet, slightly too sweet malty taste, with light notes of alcohol, light peach, some tea, some plastic. Some note saves it, and it’s kinda harmless tasting for the strength, as in not rocket fuel, but hardly a great beer.

Bottle 0.5L. Clear golden body with a medium, frothy, white head, mostly diminishing with some lacing; average density of large bubbles. Light-to-moderate hoppy aroma (flowers) with light malty notes and alcoholic character. Moderate-to-heavy bitter flavour with light sweet character. Light-to-medium body with a watery texture; soft carbonation; evident alcoholic warming in the finish.

Philym (975) - St Neots, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - SEP 12, 2013
Appearance: Clear amber with a tight white 2 finger thick head. Aroma: Biscuit, corn, slight honey/syrupy notes, spicy, and a herbal/grassiness. Taste: Medium sweetness and bitterness with low sourness. Slightly vinous with spice. Palate: Thick rough texture, medium body and mouthfeel, prickly carbonation and quite astringent. The finish is quite abrupt with vinous maltiness initially which gives way to an increasing bitterness and spiciness and alcohol warmth. Comments: Tasty and quite refreshing. Left a glass lace.

Kita (1025) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JUL 4, 2013
Bottled, 0.50l. Clear deep golden color with large frothy off-white head, no lacing and lively bubbles. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, herbal hops, vanilla, dark fruits and some alcohol. Taste starts with sweet and rich malt, followed fresh grainy with strong alcohol presence. Mouthfeel is spicy, while aftertaste is moderate hoppy with long duration. Medium body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. Good, but too strong for hot summer day...

09.05.2013. 0,5 Swing Top Bottle. Pan Panorama. Pisa, Italy. Aroma of sweet malts. Strong beer with good firm body and a fair part of alcohol. Mild with mellow bitterness. Sweet malty flavours that goes very well with the alcohol. Low bitterness leaves malt swettness in the aftertaste.

Dorqui (2104) - Brescia, ITALY - JAN 21, 2013
Bottled 0,50L. Fraught golden yellow color, no bubbly presence, medium resistant head. Not much perfumed, poor malty notes, alcohol, grassy. Unbalanced taste, little dried impression, smooth, alcoholic and littlebacidulous final.
