Swing top bottle from a Getränkemarkt in Berlin. Strong malty beer, herbal and minty hops. Pleasant, easy drinking, not too strong, quite complex. A session with 3-4 of these would be fine.

Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light sugar, light to light light moderate hoppy, citrus, green grass. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20100410]

Tasting at Papsø
Deep blond color; small creamy head. Very nice aroma, delicate, smoke and malt. The flavor is less appealing, it’s dryish, with straw malt and ordinary bitterness. Too bad, after the aroma I had higher expectations.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours a clear golden with a white head leaving a little lacework. Sweet malty nose with some flowery hops. Medium body, sweet malts and quite some metal with some alcohol in the finish. 100410
