(bottle) pours a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of honey-tinged pale malts, light cactus juice, marzipan and yeast, with light hints of straw. flavour is pretty much the same, lots of grain and pale malts, not too sweet. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Clear ginger colour with a thin head. Aroma of spice and malt. Flavour starts spicy with some sweet ginger. Finish is cloying malt and some alco.

500 ml flip-top bottle, aquried at Maruhn in Darmstadt, Germany. Pours a cloudy orange color. A tall foamy white head. Aroma is citrus, yeast, grains, and light hops. The taste is creamy hops and fruit. There is some malty sweetness in there as well. Palate is smooth and has some bubblegum in there as well.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Deep golden color. Sweet honeyish, bready and slightly toasty aroma. Bready-toasty flavor with honey, some tart fruity alcohol and hint of herbal hoppiness.

Süß würziger Antrunk, hell-malzig. Im Mittelteil etwas herb, leicht wässrig, würzig alkoholisch-bitter. Etwas platt im Abgang, lieblos wirkend.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts intense spicy, also wheaty notes, modest dry background. Finish could be more balanced, still very spicy. Alcohol is well hidden. Nice!

Swing top bottle. Golden color. Hints of malt and citrus in the aroma. Malty sweetish, grassy citric flavor, with peach. Hint of perfume in the finish. Decent.

Deep blond color. Very simple brew, with poor aroma and ordinary flavor; there is a light metallic touch in the end and it has ordinary bitterness; the flavor also has a very light sweetness. Closer to a Strong Lager than a quality Bock.

Bottled 50cl. Poor head retention. Malty, alcoholic with green apples throughout. Metallic. Low bitterness. Full bodied. Some residual sugars in the finish which is bready, slightly reminiscent of apricot. A boring mediocre heller bock.

No sediment. Rich Pale malt wheat body has smooth rich yeasty fruit spice sweetness. Rich spicy citrus mild hop EtOH end. Sampled 4/26/2002.
