2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from the Co-op in Davis, CA. Pours out a dark brown and the smell of roasted nuts hits the nose. It was just a bit too bitter for my taste. Hints of chocolate also hit the palate. Mediocre beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Beermoth, Manchester. Clear, very dark, reddy brown. Sticky film of tan head. Cocoa. Light coffee bean. Taste is cocoa dry. Thin, watery palate. Finishes dry, with a light bitterness. Sets off great this one. Lovely chocolate. But lacks any oomph, thereafter. Disappointing.
