Our Belgian-style Extra Pale Ale is brewed with heaps of sweet Mandarin oranges from Blossom Bluff Farms and California two-row barley. We dry-hop with generous doses of aromatic Cascade and Columbus hops and finish the beer with a hint of lightly toasted American oak.

Pours a finger of head on a clear copper colored body. The aroma is loaded with pine and grapefruit... it’s like putting the hop cone right up to your nose. The taste is moderate pine bitterness, then tapers off to a mildly sweet malt finish. The texture is crisp with some softness around the edges. Enjoyable to drink.

Molt bona cervesa, molt aromàtica i maltosa, molt gust a cítrics però amb tons resinosos. Muy buena cerveza, muy aromática y maltosa, mucho sabor a cítricos pero con toques resinosos.

Classic BPA, yeasty and floral aroma with hints of citrus. Flavor is nice, with those same attributes and a slightly dry finish. Quite complex, tasty, yet refreshing and quaffable."

Bottle at home. Clear dark amber with an off-white head, nice lacings. Aroma medium malty (caramel), medium+ hoppy (citrusy). Flavor light to medium sweet, heavy bitter, ending dry. Medium body. I don’t find orange and oak.

Tap på Mikkeller Stockholm. Ljus bärnstensfärgad vätska med vitt skum. Luktar fruktigt och annat ipa’igt... Smakar som jag förväntar mig av doften...

Flaska på Mikkeler Bar. Klassisk IPA-look. Doftar citrus men också lite sur disktrasa. Smakar bra balanserad sötma av frukt och lagom beska. Rätt average men god. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Hazy, pale amber. Loads of lumps. Thin, sticky, white head. Big, piny, resinous, orange zest hop. Some rubbery fustiness. Background of minty herb. Taste is caramel sweet, for a moment, then orange zest bitter. Some dryness in there, too. Full, slightly greasy palate. Finishes long, earthy bitter. Good gear. Love that aroma.

THANKS! More than half of a 355 ml. bottle. Orange, creamy white head. Nose is lots of sweetish caramel orange hops (I know that there are actual oranges in this but you could get the same profile with hops & this could just as well be hops – seems bit of a waste, same goes for the taste), there is some light grass bitterness going on as well. Taste is caramel mixed with light grass & same orange / hop thing, sweet caramel oranges with light bitterness in the back, touch dry yeast, floral, biscuit,… Lightly malty body. Nice but should have been more outspoken, considering the ingredients, bottle is gorgeous as with all Almanac beers.
