4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours orangey gold with a tinge of blush and a creamy off-white head. Full-fat strawberry yogurt dances from the glass, with an acidic brown sugar note, some Meyer lemon, and yellow peaches just before ripeness. Flavor follows in kind, definitively lactic with complex strawberry notes -- tartness, sweetness, flesh, seed -- and a subtle sugary malty note, perhaps from the oak barrels. Finish is a little sticky but maintains a lingering citric acidity interwoven with a somewhat honeyed accent. A real delight.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours with a hazy peachy golden hued body with a moderately sized white head that succumbs to the acidity, but leaves decent lace. Aromas are of wet hay, medium funk, nice lactic acid, white wine, strawberries, rich stone fruit grape, red currant jam, light leather. Hugely fruit and medium funky with some light barrel lactones and vanilin. Somewhat zesty, ripe plums. Flavors are very jammy, tart and lightly earthy/leathery with the funk. Some robust strawberry character, possibly slightly chlorophenolic along with that. Very juicy. Acidity is cleanly lactic, medium tannin. Very pleasantly fruity. Mild malt character (straw). Lively carbonation, tart/medium sour, pretty dry. Vibrant. Good stuff, but I still prefer 2 of the 4 released so far.

Tap: hazy orange-yellow thin white head. Aroma is tart strawberry-nectarine with toast and yeast barnyard funk. Flavor is mildly sweet, funky tart with stone fruit, caramel, toast, cereal, yeast and maybe a hint of strawberry. Wow, easy drinking, refreshing, but interesting flavors. I liked it and would drink more.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle poured a peach color with a thin coating of white foam that fell right off. Aroma has a golden sour base, light strawberry, nectarine, white peach, white wine barrel, and some yeasty must. Mouth feel is light and the carbonation medium low. Flavor brings the acidity to a medium, dry peach, light berry, wine barrel, gentle fruits, and a dry lingering finish. Very well intigrated and the fruit is spot on.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at Library Alehouse in Santa Monica CA. Pours a full haze, glowing bright orange. Wispy white lacing. Nose is really quite incredible: passionfruit squeeze, freshly blended berry smoothie, fresh peach, kumquat, and juicy Nectarine. Incredible. Taste is fruit juicy with sour nectarine, peach, pineapple, kumquat, seedy passionfruit. Sort of like, gasp, an upgrade to Russian River Temptation and Compunction. Palate is lactic to the max with powerful key lime. I don’t know this brewery, but I’m floored at how good this is. Wow wow.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On draft at Beer Revolution. It pours a cloudy yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is bright with citrus fruit, strong nectarines and the strawberries come off as a mild fruity sweetness. Good notes of background brett funk. The flavor is very sour with under ripe strawberries and nectarine skin. The mouthfeel is puckering with a prickly carbonic spice and light on the palate. Very mild hints of brett in the finish. Overall, this is a very citric sour with big, tart fruit flavors but a little light on depth of funk and mouthfeel. Very nice effort again.
