3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle to glass. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a thin fizzy white head. Aroma is quite tart, with mostly acetic acid and some faint citrusy fruit notes. Flavor is also quite sour, with some faint fruity sweetness showing up in the finish. Light in body with a fizzy mouthfeel and lingering tartness. Excellent beer. Iím definitely a sucker for sours.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Windy City, shared with Pat. Pours a hazy golden amber body with nice white active lacing. Aroma is fresh strawberries - straight killing it! Lots of strawberry jam and seeds and some additional fruits. Mouthfeel is medium, super tart and zippy with notes of strawberry seeds, jam, strawberry lemonade, funky lemons, nectarines and additional fruits. Another great sour fruit ale from Almanac.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
375 ml bottle courtesy of breaks808. Another one down in the series, I guess. Pretty pumped for this one. Pours a mellow hazed deeper golden orange hue, a brighter glow on the edges dances into a lightly hazed middle, more deeper orange glow. Decent carbonation, frothy offwhite head atop stays as a firmer layer, sticks around and laces ok. Aromas present a ridiculous melange of fruit, lots of strawberries, seedy and juicy, with that telltale fruit, faint rubber, citrusy lemons and oranges, nectarines, firmer to stronger lactic zip. Lemony, yogurty, and lively. Gentle oak, bigger fruit nose dominates though. Some gentle tannic elements, subtle wine, sour grapes. Mellow funk. Wow. Initial is a bit more reeled in, still offering some firmer sourness up front. Sour strawberries, some citrus, nectarines and gentle peach. Some yogurt, gentle zip, mellow carbonation. Middle shows some more restraint, moving into some decent lactic and fruity zing, nectarine, with a bit more fruity and sweet qualities shows a bit more in the middle. A touch fuzzy, not a heavy beer but some brunt definitely steps in into the middle. Backend is a bit more dry, bretty driven. More oak shows back up. Some medium to firmer fruit presence still hanging on. Not acidic, but firmly sour. Decent brett, firm oak as we hit that backend. Touches of vanilla, wet wood, mellow tannic wine with some white and blush grapes, oranges and nectarines. Some mellow peach, more strawberries. The strawberries still set the tone in this beer, especially up front. But as the nose settles down and into that backend you get a richer melange working some decent complex angles. Finish is oaky, some decent lactic and yogurty hang on, mellow bretty funk and cobwebs. Still some decent fruit and sourness hang on, grapeskin and that tannic oak influence back there. Again, balance in these Farmers Reserves really is something. While not as assertive as #1, it drives home more intensity than #2. Itís also not as brash as #1.. probably the most expertly crafted of the 3 Iíve had this far. Quite lovely, the strawberry never gets odd or really rubbery. Pretty impressive stuff here.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared by ImstilltheGman... bright golden orange in color, good head. Nose of strawberries and sour/tartness. Taste is great.... sour, but just above a nice tartness, strawberries, sawdust, little funky, not picking up any barrel notes but still good. Body is light and refreshing, crisp and easy to drink. Overall: Reminds me of Jackie Os sours. Very nice

375ml bottle, pale straw yellow pour. Musty brett nose mixed with berries. Nothing strong, just well blended. Great balanced flavors, fruits, sourness and tart sweetness. Dry finish. Delicious! Got this from Holiday Wine Cellar.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle to tulip (shared by tastybeer). Looks good; a slightly hazy golden orange with white lacing. Smells lightly sour with notes of strawberries. Tastes like it smells, only more robust, with a nice, lively mouthfeel. Good beer!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from a 375ml bottle, thanks to Zane. The aroma is dusty, citrus, nectarines. The flavor is full of strawberries, citrus, straw, hay, malty. This is very tasty. It does end a little one dimensional.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Hazy gold with consistent head. Nose is Brett and oak. Flavor is a blast of Brett bacteria with a rotten oak finish. I donít get any type of fruit anywhere in the taste of Flavor. Just strong sourness. Long tartness on the palate. I guess Iím missing what is going on in this brew.
