3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks to tastybeer for cracking this alongside the #3. I think this one might be better but either is worth drinking. A fine sour balances the base beer against its vinous aspects to form a memorable experience.
Aroma / Appearance - The golden semitransparent base glows with a stiff white head providing contrast. Lemons, wet blankets, citrus, and dry yeast stick in the air like a fresh load of laundry alongside musty damp books.
Flavor / Palate - Lemons, dryness, and the taste of horse blanket fuse into a tart profile. Dry and bretty this has a dash of white wine yet still is mostly sour. The citrusy finish wraps up an excellent beer with style. I hope there are more of these and that I get a chance to try them.

Pleasant lemony sour ale, from Craftshack. The citrus lends a nice complex citrus taste. Just great warm weather afternoon drinking.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle through trade, semi clear dark yellow pour with minimal head. Aroma of white wine, lemons, oranges, get some lime notes, just a big citrus punch. Taste is the lemon tart up front then the cara cara comes in, love this series.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
375 ml bottle from breaks808. The trade that keeps giving. Capping off the series. Pours a nice deeper orange golden hue, faint haze but near transparent. Good carbonation frothy offwhite head atop stays as a subtle lacing film, decent ringer laces small. A lively carbonation throughout, nice glow. It’s not mindblowing but does sustain that appearance. Aromas throw a lot of citrus and rind, distinct lemon, oranges, decent to firm acidity, citric acid and lactic acid mix well. Touches of lime, yogurt, mellow oak and white wine. Some gentle tannic oak, bigger sour citric and lactic elements keep pushing. Nice sourness, some gentle breadiness. Good fruit, impressive depth but perhaps a touch overwhelming. Initial is a bigger citric bite up front. Lemon and oranges, lemon rind, some gentle grapefruit. Touches of sour white grapes, wet oak, and some lively acidity really sinks in. The middle backs off that more assertive front end a bit, showing that good citrus feel, white grape, touches of melon, and some green apple. Sour, yet a bit more muted with some richer yogurt, lactic acidity. Touches of oak. Some bready sweetness, gentle tropical fruit and the backend really completes a progression that shows some good complexity, depth of fruit flavors. Some bread, oak, and gentle bretty funk. A decent drinkability, smaller ABV, quite drinkable with that big citrus smack, but more approachable as that dies out, shows more complexity of fruit and less intensity of that citric bite. Finish is more yogurty, some dryness and firmer oak.. But not very wine driven. This one I can see putting others on the fence. I’d look at it more as a Berliner type sour, bigger citrus bite that scrolls that back a bit as we get into it, where it shows some good complexity of fruit, more approachable yet still sour appeal with oak, lactic life, and some good all around drinkability. Nice. Probably my 2nd favorite of the series.
