3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured a yellow color with aromas of citrus, light wine, some sourness, some light wet wood, and some funk. Flavors are nice citrus and sour up front with some light wine in the back end, light and refreshing. Could drink this all day, sad I only have one bottle.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours clear blonde, white head fades instantly. Smell is sharply sour, some malty tones as well, but no sweetness. Taste is dry, sharp sourness, citrussy tones are there, but not in an overly intense way, not per se much more than other sour beers might have without the adding citrus fruits. No oranges or wine notes to be found... It does feel wattery, and to high on carbo though. Not of the same quality as some other sours these guys did..,

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle as pictured. Poured a golden yellow, some carbonation. Couldn’t really distinguish any fruits in particular and I’m not really sure what a citron tastes like. Nice tart citrus flavor but not overly puckering. Really a balanced sour beer.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
you can definitely tell Almanac’s sours apart from others - they have a liquid sourdough thing going on in addition to the winey twang and citrus, and like all the others, quite good.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear bright gold yellow. Nose of lemon and light wheat. Crisp with light lemon tartness. Was great with sushi, but second fiddle to the Rare Barrel Soliloquy.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a slightly hazy neon yellow with no head. Funky up front aromas merge and give way to large amounts of citrus. Lemons and oranges. Oak aromas keep it grounded. Intensely dry and tart citrus flavours. Almost like biting into a lemon. A barnyard note hits the mid palate before returning to a milder citrus sour bite. The finish is dry and short.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at ebp. Pours a cloudy pale orange with a loose creamy white head. Big tangy nectarine and mandarin nose. Juicy and intense. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Tangy, juicy mid palate with puckering bursts of nectarine and mandarin. Gorgeously flavorful. Long tart finish.
