COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Gose is a special draft-only beer inspired by the classic wheat beer hailing from Leipzig, Germany. Traditionally brewed with salt and coriander, our tart California-inspried version is brewed with San Francisco Bay Sea Salt and fresh green coriander berries and flowers grown especially for us by Farmer Andy Griffin at Mariquita Farms in Watsonville, California. Fermented with our house Saison yeast, this delicate and tart beer is a perfect summer refresher. Pair with local seafood and sunshine.

A - Pours a light, hazy apricot color with a small, frothy head that leaves lacing as it fades. S- toasted oak, caramel, citrus T- tart and citrusey, light caramel, toasted malt. M- medium bodied with lively cabonation. D- Overall, this just wasn’t the beer for me. I thought it was interested but lacked the cohesiveness I would have liked to see to rate this beer higher.

Pint at Pub Republic Petaluma. Good aroma. Sweet yeasty. Hey nice mix of herbs salt, a sweet citrus streak now and again. Tad hazed orange gold color. Not much head our lace. Lovely carbonation. medium sourness in flavor. Medium body. Heavy slick mouthfeel. Tasty drying finish. Good stuff. Flavor slightly better than aroma for me. But that’s marginal. Good overall beer

On tap at Pub Republic. Pours a hazy golden color. Wheat beer aroma. Tastes like a slightly sour belgian wit. The sourness overpowers the wheat beer a little. Refreshing summer drink.

A surprising beer that is probably much better than my rating would indicate. One of the first ’different’ beers I have no argument with - albeit in moderation.

Tap: golden hazy pour with large frothy white head. Aroma is toasted oak, caramel, cream, and dried orange. Flavor is tangy with citrus, caramel, salt and funky yeast. Nice flavors, easy drinking, great aroma, I could drink a lot more of this one.

Right amount of salt and sourness made a refreshing beer to wash down dinner. Some of the herb comes through as well as a little fruit, citrus or tropical not sure.
