COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Golden Gate Gose is a special draft-only beer inspired by the classic wheat beer hailing from Leipzig, Germany. Traditionally brewed with salt and coriander, our tart California-inspried version is brewed with San Francisco Bay sea salt, lemon verbena and coriander grown especially for us by Dirty Girl Produce in Santa Cruz, California. Fermented with our house saison yeast, this delicate and tart beer is a perfect summer refresher. Pair with fresh seafood and sunshine.

Fresh sour aroma with notes of fruits and herbs. Hazy golden liquid with a fine white frothy head. Medium sourness espicially in the beginning followed by a light-medium bitterness and moderate sweetness. Sea salt and herbs are present in the taste. Lively carbonation, medium-full body. Very tasteful gose. !

Denne gose har et lidt uklart udseende med et medium hvidt skum. Øllen har en sur aroma og smager surt hvorefter den får en saltet og lidt sød smag. Medium karbonering.

Draft to tulip at the SF Toronado. Looks solid; a completely transparent golden orange with foamy white head. Smells yeasty with strong notes of coriander. Tastes like it smells, but tart, with some salt as well. Mouthfeel is medium-light to medium-bodied. Solid, but underwhelming on the nose.

23.01.2016, 22 oz bottle @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grassy, weeds, pears, grass, minerals, bark, sap, leafs, sugar, fruit stones. Taste is slightly sour-ish mineraly, weeds, minerals, sour grass, paper, bark, metal tank, harsh fruit stones. Medium bitterness, sour-ish harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Meh!

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Hazy medium gold, low white head. Aroma is grains, cooked veg, and brine. Flavour is grainy and tart, a bit lemony. Quite nice.

Bomber. Sour plum nose, bouillon, umami, rusty nails (curious, but not bad). Light coppery brown color. Gentle tart sour peach, light tang, wheat, turns a bit sweet, and then finishes with light saltiness. Thin and mildly astringent. Tolerable, but not an exemplar of the style.

Bottled. Lightly acidic nose, coriander, herbs. Glowing deep golden color. More tart than the nose reveals, lemon, a bit lactic, salt. Too herbal for me, with a light sourness. Oily, smooth body. Decent but I would prefer less spice and herbs.
