COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Honey Saison is a beer for all seasons. Brewed with Bay Area honey from Marshall Farms, wheat, California two-row barley, French oak and fresh, local ginger root for a hint of spice. Balanced with earthy Mount Hood and Saaz hops, this is a refreshing brew enjoyed best with your favorite seasonal fare.

I thought this was an okay beer. Didn't get any honey flavor or aroma, but it was a pretty solid saison.

"kinda tame at the start (i admittedly poured too cold, though) but it opens up quite nicely. we tried three of their beers last night and though this was the weakest, they were all solid. Smells floral and fruity, with hints of honey, wheat, and ginger. flavor and feel is light but grainy (in a good way). And for the style, 2.50 is pretty reasonable."

Flaske fra vinmonopolet. Gylden uklar farge. Hvit skumtopp. Moderat karbonert. Smaker gjær, høy, honning, krydder. Ganske skarp og bitter ettersmak

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours deep golden with a slight haze and a huge and lively white head. Nose is yeasty with a dry orange zest. Medium body, very heavily carbonated, yeasty with an unpleasant tart edge that mostly appears like an unintentional lactic infection - but could be the ginger perhaps? No real gingery flavours though. Gets medicinal and phenollic towards the end. Not my kind of saison at all - sorry. 080914

Hefig herber, stark karbonisierter Antrunk. Hopfiger im Mittelteil, mild säuerlich, helle Getreidenoten. Zum Ende noch einmal intensiver, süffig, hefig, erfrischend. 11/9/11/9/11/9

Wally’s, LA: Pours golden orange with a big fluffy white head. Aroma is farmhouse funk and a healthy dose of honey. Taste is sharply bitter in a subdued way. The honey is fortunately also quite subdued, but it adds to the taste rather than the sugar content. Finish is pretty dry. Aftertaste of honey hops and minerals.

Bottle. Clear amber color with ivory fleeting head. Honey, ginger, dry hay, dry spice aromas. Frothy light mouthfeel. Lightly sweet honey flavors with ginger spice, herbal, dry bread----drying nicely bitter finish_____not bad.

[Tap] Golden colored pour with a slight haze to it. About an inch of frothy white head on top. Crisp aroma of honey, cereal malts and noble hops. Flavors of cereal grains, clover honey, wheat, cracker, yeast, mild herbal notes and straw. Solid palate. Comes across as creamy in a way. Crisp and mild hop finish is pleasant. Good stuff.

On tap at Falling Rock in Denver. Pours hazy yellow with lots of fluffy head. Aroma of yeast funk, sweet honey, some light citrus and pear, a bit of spice, and more funkiness. Flavor follows the smell very closely with some additional sweetness and body, some nice finishing spice and light grassy hop character. Body is light to light medium with medium plus carbonation. Goes down pretty easy. Nothing special but worth drinking on a nice summer day.

Full on citrus aroma followed by the expected Belgian flavor makes for an excellent experience. Made even better by its low alcohol content (which allows one to have more than one).

A- Pours a hazy apricot color with a huge, chunky, 3 finger head that leaves fizzy lacing on the way down. S- Apricot, lemon rind, banana, light fruit. T- Banana, apricot, lemon, caramel. light, crisp finish. Hints of residual sweetness. M- Medium bodied and effervescent. D- Nice summer beer. A little fruity for me but I enjoyed it.
