Brewed with a mash of raw and malted barley, oats, rye, spelt and lemon, this beer was fermented in used wine barrels with a blend of Brettanomyces wild yeasts and Marla Bakery’s San Francisco sourdough yeast. The finished beer is dry-hopped with tropical Mosaic hops. This unfiltered ale is alive in the bottle: drink fresh for a bright, passionfruit aroma or age to develop the wild yeast funk.

375ml bottle pours cloudy toasted orange with 2 finger head. Nose is musty funky lemon, lime, grape. Taste is tart lemon, lime rind, some tropical fruit, dusty dough, faint woody funk. Finish is mildly tart, though not as tart as expected for a sour beer brewed with lemons, funky fruit, lime, light bready cereal, some faint oak. A very layered brew. Interesting in concept and taste.

Bottle... Pours clear and yellow with a mid-sized, wispy, white head. The aroma is woody and bready with hints of lemon zest and lactic acid. Full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and soft carbonation. The flavor offers some acidity and fruitiness, but mainly I’m getting acute, metallic bitterness that clings forever to my unhappy tongue. Bottle courtesy of richiesd!

Tried on 12/10/15 - had a sour lemon aroma, but the taste was off. It wasn't sour...i think it went bad. I could handle more than two drinks. This is surprising given the ratings and the fact that I like their other beers. I'm simply making a note so I can try another one later. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap.Golden cloudy body with small white head. Aroma is sourdough with fruits . Taste is sour also with fruits and citrus. Aftertaste is sour. Nice one.

0,1l from tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien, shared by Sin4H, thanks. yellow quite cloudy color, small white head. smells sour, parfume, some fruity notes, grass, grapefruit. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes fruity, sourish, some parfume, grass, fruity notes, mango, pineapple, light coconut, also some citric notes. finishes with coocnut and citric notes. good stuff, taste is very lovely, smells is quite nice too. overall drinks very good

Tap Craft beer festival Vienna. Orange color with medium white head. Citrus hops, bread, dough in aroma. Taste, bread, dough, barnyard, citrus hops, oranges, zest, lemon. Light sour, lemony finish. Good, bu not worth for money they asked at festival.

Orange color with white head. Aroma is fresh, vanilla, biscuity, oranges, citrusy. Taste is surprisingly bready, really sour dough like, slightly boozy. Daring, and it pays off.

Clear golden pour with a white head. Thea roam has some biscuit and citrus notes. The flavor has a nice sourdough character as well as some strawberries, rye, biscuit malt and light oak. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

375ml bottle pours out a hazy straw color topped with a small head. Nose is funk citrus floral notes a nice bread dough and white grapes. Taste is more of the funk bread dough plenty yeast and the floral notes.

4/3/15. Bottle shared by Tim, I believe. Hazy yellow pour with a nice khaki head, good lacing. Interesting aroma, light funk, lemon peel, super doughy maltiness, reminds of raw pizza dough in a way. The flavor is the same way - lemon, light funk, some grassy bitterness, very doughy. Almost reminds me of a lemon pie with undercooked crust (and less sweetness of course). Interesting.
