shrubber85 (2462), Wallhalben, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany Jul 26, 2008 Bottle. Slightly sour corn and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head that quickly disappears. Lightly sweet barley malt flavor with a light metallic hopsfinish. Pretty much like most other non-Euro/American pale lager.
hopson (469), Williamsville, New York, USA Aug 4, 2008 Courtesy of my lebanese friend Joe Hanna- bottle- refreshing and had a lot more body than I was expecting. More hop presence than typical macro lager. Definitely a Heineken feel, but better...Probably because its Lebanese. Normally I wouldn’t rate a beer like this so highly. However, this "Lebanese Gun Powder" hits the spot on a warm sunny night. A fine beer to accompany food. Might I recommend spicy chicken ka-bobs or humus with red pepper pita crisps. jjpm74 (2878), Connecticut, USA Jul 22, 2008 Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of dry malt, some fruity hints. Tastes earthy and watery with some stray hops peaking through. EHSRanders (678), Randers C, Denmark Jul 9, 2008 Bottle. Clear golden colour with medium creamy white mostly diminishing head. Malty aroma. Sweet bitter flavor. Watery palate. HenrikSoegaard (2985), Randers, Denmark Jul 6, 2008 Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty bready aroma. Light bitter flavor and finish. Watery palate. Standard bad pale lager.
