COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Following the successful launch of the New Almaza 33 CL Pilsener bottle March 2006, Brasserie Almaza s.a.l. recently introduced into the Lebanese market Almaza Pure Malt, a specialty dark beer brewed with 100% malted barley having a 6% alcohol level. Its creamy foam enhances the tantalizing rich aroma, offering a memorable drinking experience. The unique taste of this distinctive beer is most appreciated when sipped from a glass and shared during gatherings with special people.

Aroma: intense caramel and bread malts. Appearance: clear brown, medium frothy white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: sweets intensify, brown sugar, molasses, bread malts. Overall: unexciting yet drinkable Dunkel. Bottle from Sam’s Beverage, Beirut.

Not bad. Reddish clear pour with a fizzy yellow head. Neutral aroma. Malty flavor, with just the slightest nutty flavor. Not bad. Not great. But not bad. Only thing against it really was a watery mouthfeel.

Clear reddish brown colour, white head. Aroma of caramel and malts. Sweet caramel flavour. Sweet finish. Too sweet for me I’m afraid.

Malt aroma. Red-brown colour with virtually no head. Much malt taste, sweetness, some overripe fruit maybe? caramel aftertaste.

330 ml bottle at the Airport in Beirut, Lebanon. Pours a brown color with a Beige short lasting head. Aroma is Malt and some fruitiness. Taste is malt paper and some fruit. Palate is to bubbley and slightly harsh. A far cry better than their normal beer but still way below average.
