Il colore è ambrato tendente al rosso. Schiuma bianca sottile.

Owl Farm, Brooklyn tap: pours a dull medium brown with an off white head. Aroma is yeast, grapes, something like cake. Taste is lightly bitter and somewhat sweet. Kind of creamy body. Not sure that it was worth the price that I paid alas.

On tap @ IBF Pub Edition, Milano.

Keg at FOB, Rimini. It pours a murky dark copper/brown color with a minimal bubbly beige head. Aroma is sweet and yeasty, with notes of bubble gum, toffee, plums, dried cherries and wine barrel. Taste is again sweet with notes of caramel, light spices, nutmeg, plums, wine must, figs and dust. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, quite tasty and sweet

(Bottled, 0.75l, BBE 11/2012) Hazy copper with a smallish, quickly descending head. Toffee-caramely malt, almonds, grapes and orange peel in the nose. Flavor is very caramely, quite sweet, bitter-almondy. Feels like a few degrees less than 8% ABV. Medium body, very easily drinkable. Quite featherweight for a Xmas brew, but clean, balanced and easy to drink.

Bottled at RBESG 2010 Grand Tasting. An unclear golden beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of fruits, malt, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, and cloves, leading to a dry and spicy finish. The alcohol tickles the palate.

RBESG 2010, Grand Tasting, bottle
Cloudy amber color. Sweetish caramel aroma with traces of yeast. Sweet flavor, some malt, light herbal and spicy touch, very low bitterness, some yeast and bubblegum. What’s the point here?

Bottle 150 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy and opaque amber with a dense beige head leaving laces. Sweetish spicy nose with overripe fruit and yeast. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, fruit, brown sugar and yeast. Some alcohol in the finish but no bitterness. 060610
