Bottle at RBESG - Brasserie 4:20. Clear brown - white head. Fruity. Nutty. Berries. Honey. Light smoke. Ok

Bottle. Pours a hazy deep red with a lasting beige head. Aromas of heavy malts, caramel and dark fruit (plum/prune). Flavor is sweet and similar to the aromas with a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle. Murky dark amber with a rocky, foamy tan head. Aroma is sweet with toffee notes, faint candy, yeast notes and light booze. Taste is sweet malt, dusty yeast, grains, toffee, dried fruit and soft flowery notes. Body is medium with a bubbly, dense carbonation. Ends with more dusty yeast notes, toffee, light fruit, sweet malt, faint booze and grains.

Not much in the way of aromas. A little toffee and alcohol. Flavors of caramel. Overall above averge barleywine.

All’OConnor in bottiglia da 33, divisa con altri come bicchiere della staffa; la ricordo particolarmente fruttata, mi stupisco a leggere che ha 10% alc. Colore ambrato chiaro, lieve frutta al naso. Non resterà nella mia memoria birraria.

Colore ambrato scuro con poca schiuma. Aroma abbastanza piatto, leggera frutta e sentore tostato. Anche in bocca ahimè, non mi colpisce particolarmente, corpo robusto, caldo ma che non da mai l’impressione di essere importante. Miglioriamo un poco in un finale lungo amaro ed erbaceo. Sicuramente da rivedere.

37,5cl Bottle. Thanks to Fonefan. Pours unclear orange with a small off white head and lacings. Nose is sweet. Oak, vanilla orange peel, fruit and caramel. Smooth and medium palate. Low carbonation. Oily and slick. Hoppy dry flavor with a bit of oak and vanilla. Nice.

Clear medium amber - red orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, overriped fruit - orange, plum, prune. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, overriped fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100910]

Hazy orange with a small off white head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel, ripe fruits and hops. Flavor had toasted malt, caramel, hops, pine, grapefruits and warming alcohol near the end.

cloudy amber sooth yellow head.. looks pretty nice. very interesting aroma, retty fruity, dry , sweet. sweet boozy barley wineish, flavor.

37.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma is overripe and dark malty. Sweet malty, caramelish and roasted. Slight yeasty and phenolic. Sweet roasted caramelish malt into the finish.
