COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed within the parameters of a classic India Pale Ale or I.P.A., our version boasts a burst of hops from start to finish, and is balanced with a sweet maltiness.

On tap at Sam Choys in Honolulu, HI. Poured a medium to deeper orangish / copper color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of floral green hoppiness, citrus and some caramel. Tastes follow suit. Light to medium bitter.

Draft: poured copper with a smallish beige head. Aroma of hops and some pine. Flavor is hoppy, a little pine and pineapple. Some caramel notes. Quite enjoyable.

Decent cloudy amber color. Not enough hops to satisfy my taste. Bland and boring. Should have left it on the island.

Red, thinly topped. This is a bit thin, but sweet and elegantly hopped. Not bad.

Volgon (2763) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 1, 2003
GABF 2003: Clear orange color, soft hops aroma, full bodied and ends bitter. A bit sour in the ending suggests that this beer wasn't in its prime.

3fourths (7884) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 29, 2003
GABF-03: Dark amber, close to no head. Mild aroma of scotch-like hops. Pale, bready, with a little malts behind, but with an medicine flavor as well. Hay, sour fruit. Not hitting the style, IMO,. but it's still decent.

Clear red-amber colour. Strong piney hops in the aroma and flavour. Very crisp body with a tasty lingering finish. A nice IPA, and the highlight of my Sam Choy sampling.
